Upload PLC project

How can I read out the programming of the following system

CPU GLC-396R v.502

Loader 213

Firmw. 251

I read in the forum that an update of the firmware and the bootloader is required first.

Is the programming deleted by an update?

Hi,

The firmware you specified is used with GMTSoft, which is previous plc editor. You cannot upload the project made using this editor from PLC. If you wish, you can update the Firmware and Bootloader versions of the PLC with our new and long-used PLC editor, GMTSuite, and rewrite the program to use it. You should know that with the update process, the ladder project running in the PLC will be deleted. Have a nice working day.
