PLC state passive problem. PLC MAC 00:25:FC:01:5D:12 PASSIVE

Recommended Posts

I connected the CPU and the SCADA computer to a router that has Internet access. Everything is working.

But unfortunately the server periodically goes into a passive state for a short time, then it works again.

Is it related only to the speed of the Internet or can there be other reasons?

Please help solve this problem, because sometimes when the server is in a passive state, the program stops and the current state of the PLC is reset (for example, if the output is on, it turns off, if the counter is running, it is reset to 0.

It seems that PLC is connected to our server.  if the system goes to passive and active mode periodically, there should be some reasons, 1. The internet connection of PLC or your PC is poor 2. The PLC can be reset by itself because of runtime program or external 24VDC power supply problem.

So, I suggest you to check power supply of PLC and check internet connection of PLC and PC and make very simple program for Scada and PLC ladder and try.
